Skating Safely On Wild Ice!
Nordic skating has quickly become one of my favorite winter hobbies, but heading out on fresh skate-able ice on large lakes comes with some inherent risks. While I'd still recommend taking a course or heading out with experienced skaters, hopefully this video will share some of the gear you'll want to pack, and the thought processes and approaches to ice safety I employ while out skating.
