Turned Back Within Sight Of Mt. Abraham Summit? — X/14

Mount Abraham is always a tough 8 miles with a very steep finale, but when the road isn't plowed and there's feet of snow on the ground it gets harder! Snowshoeing nearly 14 miles, and making it within sight of the summit before being forced to turn around, this was a Valentine's Day to remember! Even though we didn't actually summit the peak, this was one of the hardest days of the project thus far, and we're proud of our risk assessment and willingness to turn back on the ridgeline. Follow along on this adventure, and be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for the rest of this series!
